Asynchronous Course: When you hear Depth of Knowledge (DOK) one often thinks of high stakes summative assessment; DOK is not only for STAAR assessments. Depth of Knowledge was developed to assist teachers in the designing of instruction, addressing formative assessments. Humans are task-driven organisms, not verb-driven; therefore, our instruction should mirror that fact. Here educators will learn how to take what they currently have and adjust it to meet students at their levels while still working towards student mastery of the standard(s).
