ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for teachers of students with disabilities ages 3-5 years (birth - 5 years for students with visual and/or hearing impairments).

Phonological Awareness is an auditory skill that allows children to manipulate the syllables and individual sounds of words. Strong phonological awareness skills help pave the way for learning to read and write. In this *VIRTUAL* session we will explore strategies to support phonological awareness development which include rhyming, alliteration, blending and segmenting. 

Please note this session is scheduled for Dec.6th & 7th from 9:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m. Participants must attend both days in order to receive credit.
