FACE-TO-FACE FORMAT: Learning Lab Series: Applying the Principles of Articulation Identification



ESC-20 provides training, technical support, resources and information about speech therapy for students who have communication disorders.
 


Use of Quality Data to Drive Instruction

Important Session Information:


This workshop focuses on the assessment of students with suspected articulation impairments that might qualify them for speech services in the schools. Specific formal and informal testing will be considered along with interpretation of findings and possible recommendations to the ARD Committee using case studies and hands-on practice of analyses. 

Session Learning Objectives: The participants will

1. develop an evaluation plan for assessing articulation skills in a case study scenario,

2. practice informal analyses of articulation data, and

3. interpret articulation assessment results to formulate a summary statement and recommendations to the ARD Committee.
