Simply STEM: Making STEM learning accessible to All Young Learners using TEKS RESOURCE SYSTEM

Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) provides assistance to districts in the successful development and implementation of a school readiness integration model of coordinated funding that brings school districts, Head Start programs and child care providers together in a mixed delivery model.  ESC-20 also provides leadership to ensure the effective regional implementation of appropriate instructional strategies in early childhood settings through technical assistance and professional development in the areas of developmentally appropriate practices and curriculum and supports parents with Pre-Kindergarten information and eligibility criteria.

Important Session Information:

Join us for this *Face to Face* session as we explore how to make Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) learning engaging and developmentally appropriate for ALL early learners. We will explore the latest research in STEM learning for children with and without disabilities, the importance of introducing these concepts early, and how to naturally integrate STEM learning throughout the preschool daily routine. Participants will receive the STEM Made Simple resource book and materials to take back and create a STEM activity tomorrow! A variety of ideas for how to stock the classroom to promote STEM learning will also be discussed.

This is only opened to TEKS RESOURCE SYSTEM.

Note: Please bring laptops and power cord.
