Well crafted essential components are critical in the development of student centered Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Specially Designed Instruction (SDI) and progress monitoring. In this 60-minute virtual session for teachers we will provide a "bite-sized" overview during a Lunch & Learn session of the Present Level of Academic Achievement and Functional Performance (PLAAFP) and IEP goals.
Following this session, you will have a better understanding of the PLAAFP and Goal Federal and State Requirements, TEA Guidance and Local Policy Discretion and ways to collaborate by focusing on impact of disability statements and data driven strength and need identification.
This session is appropriate for both general education teachers who desire to increase foundational special education program knowledge and special teachers tasked with IEP development, especially those new to the field.
Once you register for the session, you will receive a confirmation email with the link to access the session included. Feel free to eat your lunch while getting great information with your computer's camera on or off!
