ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance to district transition contacts and vocational adjustment coordinators in the development and implementation of effective transition services and inter-agency collaboration.

This session will include assessing a student's transition needs, strengths, references and interests.  Participants will be guided to develop appropriate IEP goals, post-secondary goals, courses of study, summaries of performance (SOP) and include local agencies in the process. 

Hands-on examples of select formal and informal assessment techniques and tactics will be provided using interactive activities. Several resources will be shared to help educators select an age appropriate transition assessments to support the students' post-secondary goals.
