Webinar: The Classroom Teacher's Role in Supporting Dyslexic Students



ESC-20 provides training and technical assistance for professionals serving student with dyslexia. Students with dyslexia usually experience difficulties with other language skills such as spelling, writing, and pronouncing words.

Important Session Information:


In this session we will discuss the signs and characteristics of dyslexia, misconceptions about dyslexia, effective reading and spelling instruction, and classroom accommodations. We will also discuss incorporating dyslexia intervention techniques into the classroom to help dyslexic students transfer skills into their daily reading and writing. 

This session will take place in the form of a 3-hour webinar. Participants must have a desktop, laptop or Chromebook in order to participate, along with an adequate internet connection. Active participation of various forms will be required during the session in order to obtain course credit. You will receive a confirmation email from Connect20.
