A
contracting entity (CE) may procure a food service contractor to support the CE
in its food service operation.
However, in all cases and with all contracts,
the CE is still responsible for ensuring that the program is operated
effectively and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
In support of CEs procurement and management of the food service contracts for School Nutrition Programs (SNPs), including National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), Afterschool Care Program (ASCP), and Seamless Summer Option (SSO); this session will focus on the request for proposal process and contract management.
