G/T 6 hour update: Embedding Advanced Products and Performances into your Curriculum

The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:

Advanced Products and Performances are an integral portion of Gifted/Talented Services. Gifted Learners deserve the opportunity to connect their schema into their classroom experiences and this can occur in the general classroom setting outside of G/T pull-out services. Come explore ways to better understand the state requirements for advanced thinking in your students' work and how to implement them in manners that will elevate the thinking of your scholars in new and meaningful ways.

NOTE: This session can count for a G/T Day 4, Day 5 or 6-Hour Update if not previously taken.
