The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:

Creative Writing can sometimes be a challenging thing for students to engage in. The fear of failure and barriers for the students to tell what is truly on their mind can sometimes be daunting. Come explore strategies to unlock the creativity of your students and help them gain the confidence in their original ideas and utilize them in their academic experiences.

This session can take the place of a G/T Day 4, 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.
