Target Audience: PK-12 school counselors, classroom teachers
Studies suggests that mindfulness education, lessons on techniques to calm the mind and body, can reduce the negative effects of stress and increase students' ability to stay engaged, helping them stay on track academically and avoid behavior problems. In this session you will be able to practice mindfulness techniques to help you feel comfortable in sharing these tools with students individually, in small groups, or during classroom guidance lessons.
