Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC)
ASCENDER SIS New Consultant Summer Boot Camp



The Texas Computer Cooperative (TCC) is a statewide cooperative of 19 Texas Education Service Centers (ESCs).  The TCC has been providing high quality, compliant, comprehensive business and student software and support to Texas LEAs for over 50 years.  The TCC product, ASCENDER, is used by 885 LEAs in Texas to empower LEAs to make informed decisions and engage stakeholders through powerful tools and applications.  The TCC operates only in Texas, serving Texas schools through Regional Education Service Centers.  



Important Session Information:


ASCENDER SIS New Consultant PD; Two-Day Session (8:30 AM - 3:45 PM)

  • ASCENDER - Learn the Basics:
    • Student overview and system basics
    • Login, navigation, retrieve & maintain data, and reports
    • Security Administration overview of how to create roles and users
    • ASCENDER Confluence Wiki, Online Help, and Training Guides
  • Explore the Registration Application:
    • Review the menus, pages, and fields
    • Run each Registration report

This session will require participants to bring their own laptop and test environment for practice.
