Designing Meaningful and Engaging Professional Development (That's NOT Boring!)
This 3-session virtual series provides foundational tips, tools and techniques for those new to facilitating professional development (or for those who want to reinvigorate techniques). Participants will examine the unique needs of adult learners, experience and apply professional development techniques that yield results, and examine how to maximize the change process to support long- term learning and transfer for adults. Each participant will receive a copy of Caffeinated Learning, by Anne M. Beninghof.
Session 1: Tuesday, October 25th; 9-11 AM: Foundations of Professional Development
Session 2: Wednesday, October 26th; 9-11 AM: Professional Development from Start to Finish
Session 3: Thursday, October 27th; 9-11 AM: Reflecting and Moving Forward
Following the series completion, ESC-20 team will offer virtual office hours for professional development coaching to help you further your professional development skills.
