Weaving Standards into Everyday Practice: Exploring the Texas Library Standards
ESC-20 provides support in the areas of library services.
Leadership Effectiveness
School Climate
Teacher Quality
Important Session Information:
Many people outside of the library don't even realize that Texas has legislative statutes clearly defining the expectation for school library programs. Together we'll explore the various strands, assess our current programs, and build an action plan based on these standards. More importantly, we'll discuss the way to share these standards in meaningful ways with all stakeholders to ensure they understand that every Texas student deserves a high quality school library program. This is a great session for those new to the profession or for those who want to dig deeper into understanding the Texas Library Standards. Bring a charged device and a charger for this session.
