This all-day training will start with discussion and resources related to evaluations; then, we will explore apps such as Soundscape, Goodmaps Outdoors, and other technology for travel in the community. After lunch, the focus will change to address complex Intersections, and finally developing independent travel skills in rural areas.
Learning Objectives:
1.) Participants will explore requirements and resources for evaluations, as well as advocacy strategies to allow these evaluation activities to occur.
2.) Participants will compare apps and technology options for safe and independent travel.
3.) Participants will explore designs of complex intersections and compare strategies for non-visual crossings.
4.) Participants will explore options for independent travel and transportation in rural areas.
