Zoom Session - G/T 6 hour update - Supporting Social Emotional Learning for G/T Students (Counselors/Admin)



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


I'm a counselor/Admin. How do I support social emotional learning of identified gifted learners in my role? Join us to learn your unique and empowering wall in supporting the social emotional learning of students who you support individually or in a small group setting. We will analyze the intersection of social, emotional, and learning. It's easier than you think!

This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit.

This Training can take the place of G/T Day 4 or 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.
