This course is designed for district or school instructors who will be providing the Behind the Wheel Entry Level Driver Training (ELDT) portion. If ESC-20 is the designated training site for the district or campus this course is a requirement. Trainers attending will learn about the forms and timelines required for compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration prior to ELDT candidate going to the TxDOT for driving testing for Class B commercial license with P&S endorsement.
This applies only to district employees who meet the FMCSA requirements as Behind the Wheel trainers. Those registered to attend will need to bring photocopies of their driver's license with P&S endorsement, driver physical and employment history showing school bus driving history of a minumum of 2 consecutive years.
