The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


Have you considered how to help your students see the connections between the TEKS and their lives in meaningful ways? Effective Research Methods can demonstrate to students how they can mitigate some of the problematic challenges in our world. Come and learn how to effectively utilize technology, design and various assessments to teach your TEKS while also educating your students how they can save the planet! 

Please bring charged technology (laptop, tablet) and (headphones, if possible) to the session.

G/T Coop - Free

Non Coop - $125

This training can take the place of a G/T 6 hour update or G/T Day 3, 4, or 5 if not previously taken.
