ESC-20 provides professional development and technical assistance to support educators with implementation of the Science TEKS by analyzing data to enhance instructional practices to meet the needs of students, and provides targeted support to reach campus and district goals.

This course addresses the critical knowledge that science teachers need to help and support students, especially emergent bilinguals, to be successful in the classroom. This course shares instructional strategies that provide rich and varied language experiences, teach individual words, teach word-learning strategies, and foster word consciousness. Whether this is your first year in the classroom or you have multiple years of experience, this course offers valuable information for all. 

This course is self-paced. You will have until August 31st to complete the course.
