Advancing Educational Leadership (AEL) Certification training is a three-day face-to-face training required for administrators who provide teacher evaluations. This certification is a co-requisite to the T-TESS Appraiser Certification.
**Administrators who hold an ILD Certification are grandfathered and are therefore not required to hold an AEL Certification.**
