Important Session Information:

Asynchronous Course

Regardless of what grade level and content you teach there is a vocabulary. Mixed into this vocabulary is a mixture of words that can classified as Tier 1 to Tier 3 vocabulary. Teachers can sometimes forget however that words can have multiple meanings and a student can become frustrated because their experience with a word has a different meaning than the one that the teacher is talking about. Come and join this Asynchronous course to see several examples of ways that we, as educators, can unintentionally cause confusion with our students and more importantly how to be proactive and correct it before it happens to another one of our students.

This course is self-paced. You will have until August 31st to complete the course.
