Important Session Information:

Changes to STAAR have mandated an increased focus on writing instruction in grades 3 through End of Course, but that doesn't mean we have to teach it in inauthentic ways.  What if we can leverage natural response skills to promote writing in organic ways for all learners?

Come learn and practice tools to nurture the writers in your RLA classrooms.  Strategies for growing short and extended constructed responses, as well as some practical ways to approach revising and editing multiple choice will be shared.

We'll explore the beautiful grounds of the San Antonio Botanical Garden for inspiration and application as we cultivate constructed response today.

IMPORTANT NOTE:  This is a learning off-site workshop.  It will take place at the San Antonio Botanical Garden at 555 Funston Place in San Antonio, TX.
