Important Session Information:

Are you wanting to train your staff on proactive best practices to meet student needs and support a positive school climate?

Attend this session developed by the TIER statewide initiative in collaboration with the Texas Education Agency (TEA) to receive an overview of TIER trainings that include Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS), Universal Examples of PBIS Implementation, and Interconnected Systems Framework: Introduction. This session addresses social emotional, restorative discipline, and building positive classroom culture.

During this virtual 3-hour session one will gain knowledge of the benefits of working within Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) and understand the relationship between the Interconnected Systems Framework, and other school programs.

We will review the foundational components that make up PBIS and ISF, including commonalities and distinctions among the different tiers and key considerations for making implementation of both models a success.

This session is appropriate for general education teachers, special education teachers, administrators and anyone else interested in learning more about the Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports (PBIS) Framework and the Interconnected Systems Framework (ISF).

Once registered, you will receive a confirmation email with detailed information on accessing the live zoom session.

Participants will need access to an electronic device that will allow the use of Zoom. We ask that all participants plan to have their computer camera on and participate via the chat and breakout room features.

Registration ends at 12:00 AM on Wednesday, June 12, 2024
