In this session, we will cover the topic of collecting data for students who are part of a work-based learning program, whether on campus or at a job site. Additionally, we will explore effective strategies for documenting mastery of goals and focusing on gaining employment after graduation.
It's important to understand that students who receive curriculum modifications will graduate according to Texas Administrative Code (TAC) Section 89.1070(b)(3)(a)(b), which requires them to have the skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment. To meet these requirements, the skills related to graduation must be documented in the student's IEP.
