Important Session Information:

Virtual Session

Districts/Charters, we highly recommend attending our virtual session as a team. Your team should consist of a Transition Designee (TED), ARD facilitator, case manger, and anyone else involved in or responsible for student graduation.

Starting from the 2014-2015 school year, the Foundation High School Program became the default graduation program in Texas for ALL students entering ninth grade. In this session, we will discuss Texas laws, rules, and administrative codes as they apply to Special Education students with transition plans attending public schools in Texas. We will cover all state requirements needed to graduate, including programs of study, endorsements, distinguished level of achievement, and performance acknowledgments, and how they apply to students receiving special education.
