TEA Presents: Let’s Make a Deal: An LEA’s Provision of Providing Equitable Services, Ongoing Consultation Meetings, and Shared Collaboration with Participating Private Nonprofit Schools (Virtual Session)--COUNTS ONLY

ESC-20  provides training and technical assistance to districts/charter schools in the areas of: Federal Program Updates, Completion of the Consolidated Application SAS and Performance Based Monitoring. 

Important Session Information:

Presenter:  LaNetra Guess, TEA Title IV, Part A Program Director & Private Nonprofit Ombudsman.

This session will provide guidance to LEAs on increasing the success of collaborative and ongoing consultation meetings with private nonprofit (PNP) schools receiving equitable services.  Participants will hear ‘how to make a deal’ during ongoing consultation meetings by focusing on federal program requirements, PNP needs, priorities, program plans, students, and staff. Successful collaboration and newly developed TEA resources and tools can help ‘make a deal’ that leads to increased student achievement and staff development while supporting PNP needs and measurable outcomes.

Participants must register in advance to attend one of the training sessions. (upon completion of registering for this session in Connect20, a confirmation email will be sent to you and then again the morning of the session).

This session will be recorded and posted on TEA's Statewide Training Series Site under the "2022 Statewide Training Series." (Note: Notice will not be sent when the presentation has been posted.)
