In this session, you will explore ways to empower students who are deaf or hard of hearing (DHH) by addressing areas that are often over-looked but have a great impact on students’ abilities to make progress in school, at home, and in life. You will be able to identify specific skills in the areas of communication, self-concept, and self-advocacy skills, as well as gain knowledge of activities and strategies for addressing these three areas to help students who are DHH navigate life.
