Have no fear!! STAAR (ALT 2) is HERE!!
(This is a 2-part training however, you are able to attend one without the other.)
Come to this 2-part STAAR ALT 2 training and have all your questions and concerns answered to ensure you are walking confidently into your STAAR ALT 2 assessment window planned, prepared, and prepped to administer the assessment to your students that qualify for the STAAR ALT 2.
The morning session will offer uninterrupted time for you to participate and complete the asynchronous TX CAN training course entitled STAAR Alternate 2: Before, During, and After the Assessment. This state vetted network resource offers guidance for teachers on preparing students for the test, test administration, and using the test results to inform future instruction.
Bring your laptop and coffee and be ready to spend the morning learning, at your own pace, with flexible seating! I will be with you during the session to guide conversation and answer any questions that come up during that time.
You will be prepared to shoot for the “STAARS” once this training is complete!
