This session will focus on engaging students with the "new" STAAR item types by implementing effective mathematics teaching practices in the secondary math classroom. "New" STAAR item types were implemented to better align with what is already happening in the classroom. Come learn about ways to implement tasks that promote reasoning and problem solving while also preparing your students for the STAAR Assessment.
Note: This session will focus on Grade 6 - HS math concepts.
