Career & Technology Education (CTE)
Practicum of Externship PowWow



CTE instruction aims at developing foundational skills, core workplace competencies, and specific skill competencies in various occupational areas. Internships, practicums, cooperative education, school-based enterprises, dual enrollment programs, and apprenticeships are a few venues that deliver CTE by providing meaningful opportunities for leaners to apply their academic and technical skills. We serve the career and education community through targeted support for CTE compliance, program development and implementation with rigor and relevancy; bridging with postsecondary education and industry partners to build a global workforce, quality education programs and 21st century learners.

Meeting of interested CTE Administrators to PowWow around objectives of the proposed Practicum of Entrepreneurship course.

* Would you be interested in helping ot build a framework for this course and share ideas?

* Bring your questions and ideas

* What are you already doing in your district with Practicum courses that works for students ( or doesn't work)

Participants in this meeting will hopefully form a core group that will grow into a larger networking group for Practicum and other capstone CTE courses. More dates, times and locations will be planned from this initial meeting.
