In partnership with H.E. Butt Outdoor School and Cibolo Nature center, we look forward to experiencing this Nature Retreat with you. In this session, participants will learn how to develop a sense of belonging in the outdoors and foster student ownership for outdoor learning environments. Participants will understand that using outdoor intentional experiences provides opportunities to master all of the Texas State objectives. Supporting children's interests in the outdoors can support the construction and retention of self-regulation, executive function, and academic skills.
