G/T 6 hour update - Enhancement of Student Learning through the Depth and Complexity Framework (SWISD) - Grades 3-5



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


The Depth and Complexity Framework is a great way to scaffold learning and set the bar for high expectations for ALL learners within your standards. In this session, we will explore how the Framework can be used with various high yield practices in the classroom to enhance your academic/affective goals for your students.

This sessions is exclusive to teachers from SWISD
