The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


We all know students in G/T students have strengths in the classroom and academic settings, but they may have challenges and gaps in schema as well. In this session we will analyze considerations that must be taken when addressing the affective needs of our students.  Through a shift in mindset, we can unlock the potential in the self-discovery of our students.

This session is in Boerne ISD and is opens to all Districts June 1

Session will take place at Boerne ISD Admin Office located on 235 Johns Road, Boerne, TX 78006 in Room C134
