Virtual: Preparing for a SHARS New Year



ESC-20 provides training, technical assistance and resources for complying with state and federal regulations, state monitoring systems and federal funding requirements.
 


Important Session Information:


Preparation for a new school year begins months before the first day of school. Implementing the School Health and Related Services (SHARS) program is no exception. The Texas Education Agency will offer tips and reminders to support local education agencies (LEAs) as they review local SHARS guidelines and procedures. Participants will identify staffing and training needs in preparation for the new school year. Also, TEA’s tentative audit plans for the 2023-24 school year will be reviewed.
