Learning Off Site
Being Rescheduled, TBD: Maximizing Outdoor Play Time to Master Executive Function and Self Regulation Skills in Children

Learning Off Site sessions will occur outside the walls of ESC-20. These sessions are facilitated with community partners and may be conducted at a number of off site locations and in a variety of content areas.

Important Session Information:

Risky play is less about wild adventures and more about intentional explorations. Research shows risky play raises self-esteem, reduces conflict sensitivity, improves muscle strength, encourages innovative thinking, and supports decision-making skills. In this session, participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of risky play, how to support it on their campus, and how to lead a risk-benefit analysis with their students.

This session will take place at OFFSITE at Advanced Learning Academy;  Physical Address: 621 W. Euclid Ave.

Plan to be outdoors for the majority of the day. We will meet rain or shine.

Elevate20 Members: $0.00!! (Severe weather conditions will be monitored and decisions will be made in the interest of our participants' safety.)
