Learning Off Site
Maximizing Outdoor Play Time to Master Executive Function and Self Regulation Skills in Children

Learning Off Site sessions will occur outside the walls of ESC-20. These sessions are facilitated with community partners and may be conducted at a number of off site locations and in a variety of content areas.

Important Session Information:

Risky play is less about wild adventures and more about intentional explorations. Research shows risky play raises self-esteem, reduces conflict sensitivity, improves muscle strength, encourages innovative thinking, and supports decision-making skills. In this session, participants will gain an understanding of the benefits of risky play, how to support it on their campus, and how to lead a risk-benefit analysis with their students.

This session will take place at OFFSITE and location will be shared and updated here on September 1, 2023.

Plan to be outdoors for the majority of the day. We will meet rain or shine.

Elevate20 Members: $0.00!! (Severe weather conditions will be monitored and decisions will be made in the interest of our participants' safety.)
