Target Audience: School staff, Adults working with youth
In a month of expressing of our love for others, let’s reflect on the love we have for ourselves. What does your self-love look like and how are you practicing self-love, if at all? Our mental health is impacted by the type and amount of time we spend on loving our self. This course will consist of exploring the difference between self-love and self-care, identifying our love language, reflecting on what is impacting our self-love, and learning new practices to help increase our self-love to a daily norm.
Mental Health Mash Up Sessions are presented by Brandalyn Haggerty, Mental Health Education Liaison from The Center for Health Care Services (CHCS).
Each session will consist of 3 presentations that will be provided by CHCS, and two additional community partners.
This sessions community partners and topics will be:
The Rape Crisis Center - Vicarious Trauma
Laurel Ridge - What is mindfulness and how can it help my classroom?
