Texas Medicaid waivers are a gateway to getting services for your child. Medicaid home and community-based services (HCBS) provide opportunities for people to receive cost-effective, long-term services and supports in their own community, rather than in an institutional setting. Learn more about the services available and the steps to take to get your child the support they need. Even if you hope your child will never need those services, it is important that they be added to the interest list for any program(s) that might meet their needs.
