ESC-20 provides Supplementary Services for the Visually Impaired (SSVI) in accordance with the comprehensive Regional Plan for Serving Students with Visual Impairments. Specialized training is offered and technical assistance is available upon request.

Important Session Information:

Now that we have determined what device would be most appropriate for the student, how do we go about implementation to ensure student success? This session focuses on determining assistive technology devices needed for students with visual impairments to successfully access their academic curriculum. Participants in this session will be able to identify appropriate technology devices based on the assessment data collected to develop a blueprint for implementation. A half day will be devoted to looking at assistive technology for braille users and the other half will be devoted to assistive technology for low vision students.
