Establishing district policies to determine eligibility and placement for Adapted Physical Education services demonstrates a commitment to ensuring quality services for students with disabilities. In this virtual session, we will discuss how the screening and assessment process is designed to ensure that students with disabilities receive an appropriate education that meets their unique needs. The continuum of placement options serves as a guide for determining the LRE for the child. Participants will have access to an APE referral and assessment forms (both formal and informal) that can be used to support a determination of need and support for students with disabilities.
