Are you an educator who supports students receiving dyslexia services? This three-hour session will provide a foundation for facilitating and implementing collaborative planning for Special Education supports for students receiving dyslexia services.
The information in this session is provided by SBIEP-certified trainers and builds upon the foundations set in Standards-Based Individualized Education Program Process Training. This session is not a replacement for the training but a supplement to begin facilitating conversations at the local level regarding the changes in dyslexia services due to HB 3928.
Prior to this session, participants should complete Standards-Based Individualized Education Program (IEP) Process Training for Teachers. Opportunities for this training can be found through the TEA Learn Asynchronous model, or by registering for the in-person, two-day session (#96538) at the center on November 14 and 15, 2023.
Attendance is appropriate for teachers who desire to increase foundational special education program knowledge and teachers tasked with IEP development for students serviced through dyslexia services.
Upon registration for the session, you will receive a confirmation email. If you do not receive a confirmation email, call Central Registration at 210-370-5671 for assistance during business hours 8:00 am - 4:30 pm. Please contact Kelly-Anne Carroll at
