Zoom Session - G/T 6 hour update - Strategies to Springboard Discourse for G/T Students



The Gifted and Talented program at Education Service Center, Region 20 (ESC-20) promotes and supports the Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talented students through professional development and technical assistance. This is accomplished by advocating, designing and providing an array of learning experiences for teachers and administrators of gifted and talented students in order to enable them to provide a nurturing environment in which these students with special abilities, unique needs, and diverse backgrounds are recognized.

Important Session Information:


In this training, participants will engage in activities meant to strengthen and promote healthy discourse in the classroom. In addition to this, participants will gain a better understanding of how their Gifted/Talented students can develop these skills to benefit their learning and deepen their own knowledge and understanding in various content areas.

This session will be a Zoom session from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. There will be a product component that will be submitted to complete your 6 hour credit.

This Training can take the place of G/T Day 4 or 5 or a G/T 6 hour update if not previously taken.
