Business Manager Cooperative
Charter School Fundamentals



This cooperative will provide multiple "School Finance Critical Issues Sessions" for two participants, onsite technical assistance and phone support for all areas of school finance including FIRST and estimating state aide. Membership also includes attendance at required investment officer training.

Important Session Information:


This workshop will be divided into and AM and PM Session*:

  • AM Session: Budgeting (development, State and Federal compliance, amendments and transfers and closing out the fiscal year); best practices in monthly monitoring of budgets; settle-up of State funding; PEIMS reporting of budgeted, adopted funds and actual expenditures; and overview of Annual Financial Report.
  • PM Session: Charter Financial Template Training - hands-on activities related to the data sources and completion of the State Funding Template.

*One registration for both sessions.
